ECSC is host to Fleet #18, Southeast District, J/22 USA & International J/22 Associations.
There are 6 J/22’s in the ECSC fleet. James Goppert, Bob McCoun, Tony Hubbard, John Kohn, LeRoy Leeman & Bruce Berner. Bruce has served as a past president of the J/22 USA Association. The Southeastern district is very active with regattas from Fort Walton Beach, FL to the newest one in Springfield IL. The oldest and best regatta is the Equalizer held on Percy Priest in Nashville, TN. The Equalizer started as a regatta featuring J/24’s and J/22’s and is held in the late fall.
4 of our J/22’s have sailed in at least 3 National’s or International events.
